The workroom

Ten years of trade work, in one Sydney workroom.

Most of what leaves this workroom carries somebody else's label. Furniture brands, apparel labels, designers and fit-out companies send us the work they cannot afford to get wrong, and they keep sending it — trade work is unsentimental that way.

Everything is cut, sewn, finished and checked under one roof in Sydney. No offshore lead times you cannot control, no middleman, and the person who cuts your fabric is the person who sews it.

How we make it

Measured, cut, sewn and installed by the same workroom.

    We measure on site anywhere in Sydney, or work from your templates and tech pack.

  2. Upholstery vinyl and foam layered on the automated cutting table

    Cut & sew

    Cut to your drop on our own tables, then sewn by the people who cut it.

    Finish & quality check

    Pressed, weighted and checked at each stage rather than only at the end.

Manufacturing consulting

We also build the factories.

Alongside our own production we design and set up facilities for other curtain and garment manufacturers — modular systems, chain systems and lean production floors. Most workrooms lose their margin to layout and flow rather than to labour cost, and fixing that is usually cheaper than hiring.

Stripped back and re-foamed, then covered in a navy chinoiserie weave with the seat cushion piped in gold velvet — one commission among the bouclé daybeds and commercial seating runs crossing the same benches that week.
